Unit 13 & 15 - Final production Plan
Rational
We've created our final campaign for our client, our initial idea was to promote the awareness of Jemporium and what the shop offers. By including Jemporium's products in the advertisement campaign we are selling the products by promoting them. The aimed target audience for Jemporium is for young adults 15+ with an acquired taste and style in vintage clothing. We want to promote awareness of the shop to this target audience hugely because of Jemporium being hidden away in the Grafton Centre, Cambridge. We are targeting the teen to young adult generation because it's the biggest fashion frenzy audience about. We are launching the poster on the weekend of 28th February 2015, we are launching the campaign with clothes appropriate for the date.
Personnel and Activities
Olivia Jordan: Art Director
I will supervise the photo shoot and see how it is set out
Evangeline Heffer: Photographer and Copyrighter
Evie will take the photos and edit them on Photoshop
Mel Henderson: Studio Supervisor
Mel will supervise the photo shoot ensuring the room is locked after and everything is put away.
Emily Palmer: Model
Callum Ferguson: Model
James Beckett: Model
Eve Williams: Model
Resources and Equipment
Jemporium Logo
At least 5 good quality photos of shop for background of flyer
Opening times and location for flyer
Adobe Photoshop
DSLR
Tripod
Photography studio (needs to be booked and a member of staff to assist)
4 models to wear the clothes and accessories which we will borrow from Jemporium
Budget
According to NJ Creatives Network, on the low end designer hourly rates hover around £26, while the high end is about £50 (though many designers charge £70 or more an hour), with an average of £40 an hour. If we charged around £40 per hour for 10.5 hours it would equal to around £420 for a professional designer. We also realized their would be a charge for the hire for a photography studio too.
Timescale
Work hours for poster - a week to create the poster layout - 25 minutes to shoot the photos for the poster - 2 hours to edit and arrange the photos onto the poster in Photoshop. We will need 4 models to wear the clothes and accessories which we will borrow from Jemporium. To take photos in the photography studio at college we will need to book a slot and book Mel so she can supervise us.
Launch date
Launch date for finished print advertisement
Poster and Flyer Print Advertisement Campaign complete: 22nd February 2015
Launch date: 28th February 2015
We think February is a good time to launch as the clothes we're promoting link with the weather and the season.
Legal and ethical issues
We have identified and resolved any legal and ethical issues addressed. We are not featuring any Nike brands or high marketing logos in the photo shoot.
We have checked our models are over the age of 16 and have each signed a consent form. We have also identified we have not featured any models of ethic minorities but in the future we will address the balance of of ethic representation through future campaigns.

Unit 13 & 15 - Final idea presentation to the client
After this meeting with Jenny she emailed us her feedback about the products. With the bag she really liked the idea of the bow to try and promote the new logo but what was a problem was that we could only have a certain amount of design on the bag so that it might not work. For the poster she really liked the idea of the four people showing all the clothes and the different things they do, she didn't like the vintage frame around the title and we're still waiting to edit in the brown price tags. For the flyers she was really pleased with all the details on there and information that she had recommended to us to put on but thought it was way to over powering and busy. Jenny also wanted us to add a map to the flyer so people knew where the shop was based. After getting this feedback from Jenny we'll make the changes she wants to and try to make the final ideas right for our client,
